No. The cabinet protects and signals the location of an AED you already own or order separately; it fits standard AED models.
How does the alarm work?
An audible alarm sounds when the door is opened, which deters tampering and alerts people nearby that the AED is being taken to a rescue. Check the alarm battery during your monthly AED inspection.
Where should an AED cabinet be mounted?
In a visible, unobstructed location on the path people naturally take, ideally so the AED can be reached within a 3-minute round trip from anywhere on the floor. For accessibility (ADA), keep operable parts no higher than 48 inches from the floor and avoid protruding more than 4 inches into a corridor. Add the AED sign above the cabinet.
Is it suitable for outdoor use?
